Harry and UU
At this time of pandemic, we meet with our Tweens and Teens online, 11am-noon. Using a curriculum called “Harry and UU” (Unitarian Universalism) from Soul Matters, we have lively discussions on some of the many challenges that face Harry Potter and his friends. Many of the decisions and actions that Harry Potter, Hermione, and Ron must make throughout their adventures at Hogwarts are instructive for developing high moral character. As members of Dumbledore’s army, we fight a monthly horcrux such as hatred, hunger, or climate change, and consider ways we can be better citizens of the planet.
